HOW FAST WILL MY TINT PULL IN NEW CONTENT?

While “inactive” your TINT will update every 3 hours. On the day of your event, when insTINT updates are activated, your update times will be under 1 minute.

MY EVENT TIME IS NOT CORRECT?

Have no fear!  When you sign up for your event, you're able to schedule the date and time that you want your event to start.  

However, if you selected a different date/time or your event changed, as long as it is 48 hours before your event, we can switch it for you manually.

CAN I TEST THE InsTINT UPDATES BEFORE MY EVENT?

Yes, you can test the insTINT updates for 5 minutes 3 times per day before your event.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE TINT AFTER MY EVENT IS OVER?

Your TINT will revert to inactive mode. You will still be able to access your analytics for 7 days after your event.

WHAT KIND OF ANALYTICS WILL I GET?

You get our full suite of analytics, available for 1 week after your event. You can see a sample here:

DOES TINT HAVE A MOBILE APP?

Yes, we do. Our app is exclusively for moderating your TINT. You can approve or reject posts, add custom content and control certain themes - like our Q&A wall.

CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE MODERATORS?

Yes, you can add multiple collaborators (up to 500.. we don’t think you’ll need that many!) You can control administrative access for each moderator, allowing some to only modify the appearance of your TINT and others to only moderate content.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DISPLAY TINT ON A SCREEN?

You’ll need a computer (laptop or desktop) connected to the internet AND connected to a TV or projector. You can connect to your screens through a hard line in (recommended) or Chromecast.

If you have many screens, you may need to contact your AV team and ask how you can display a web URL on multiple screens.The recommend internet speed is 5Mb/s+

The URL for your TINT will be www.tintup.com/t/yourTINTname

IS THERE ANY TINT BRANDING?

There is no TINT branding on the “active” event plan. During the “inactive” period, there will be a TINT watermark.

WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT DO I GET FOR MY EVENT?

All support inquiries that come into our helpdesk regarding Events will be prioritized above all other inquiries. Feel free to email us at support@tintup.com if anything comes up!

HOW MANY TINT BOARDS DO I GET?

You will be able to create 1 TINT board, which you can customize with multiple themes. You can add up to 12 connections on that board. When creating multiple customizations, you will use the same content and a different theme.

TECH SPECS OF TINT

Everything we do is cloud based, meaning that it can all be accessed via your specific tintup.com URL. So long as you can display a website, you can display TINT.

In most cases, you can simply connect a laptop that is displaying your www.tintup.com/t/(tint_name) url to a tv/project/av system and you’re all set.
